Intelligent Decision Surveillance Systems
I worked as an economist for NHS North West between March 2099 and August 2012. During this time, I was involved in several innovative Big Data projects. My initial involvement with this work began whilst I was on the management team that commissioned the eWIN workforce information portal. I was then involved in creating a Health Market Analysis guide, the basics of which were put online as an interactive map. Then, I helped create an excel model of the QIPP challenge for all providers and PCTs in the north-west, which later became the Finance, Demand and Activity (FDA) portal, accessible to all finance departments in the region. Later, I develop the eQIPP eQIPP dashboard and a site for the CCG authorisation process, which later formed the basis of the National CCG Authorisation portal, which I devised, commissioned and project managed. Details of my Big Data work are available in the slide shows below.
HMA – Health market Analysis tool and online market mapping facilityFDA – Online tool for modelling QIPP challange for the NHS in the north-west
eQIPP – Proposal for a QIPP dashboard usable by CCG’s and NHS England
tCCG – Prototype CCG authorisation portal, which later formed the basis of the national CCG authorisation portal
